A personal film about what it means to be white in America, WHITE: A MEMOIR IN COLOR tells an emotional multi-generational story about my (mostly) white family that encompasses immigration, assimilation, liberal idealism, bitter disillusionment, and ultimately reconciliation and an adoption that makes our family multi-racial.
World Premiere at New York Jewish Film Festival January 12, 2012. Screenings at 1:30 and 6:00pm at Lincoln Center’s Walter Reade Theater.
